Most brand guidelines are opened once, filed away, and never looked at again. This one gets used every day.

Brand Standard puts your logo, your colours, and your type in one place your whole team can reach — and copies each one, ready to use, into whatever they're working on. Nobody has to download a file, guess at a hex code, or email the designer to find out which version is current.

An actual client hub, not a mockup — Meridian's real brand kit, live right now.

Brand guidelines have a way of turning into a PDF someone made two years ago and filed where nobody remembers to look. So the hex code gets retyped from memory, a shade off, and the logo gets lifted off an old slide deck instead of downloaded fresh. And every year, more of the people actually touching your brand aren't designers at all — they're interns, coordinators, an AI tool told to "make a graphic." Brand Standard is a plainer, more current place to keep it: your team will actually open it, because that takes less work than not.

Click it. Paste it. Get back to work.

There is no new software to learn. The file arrives already in the right format, the moment you click for it.

01

Open your brand hub

A private, always-current home for your logo, colours, type, and photography direction. There's nothing to install, and nothing for anyone to remember to update.

02

Click what you need

Every asset copies in the right format the moment you click it, so nobody has to dig through a shared drive looking for the version that isn't three years old.

03

Paste, and get back to work

It pastes straight into Canva, Adobe Express, Figma, or Photoshop, ready to use — the same file your designer signed off on, not a copy of a copy.

"Not a self-serve library. An actual designer keeps watch over yours."

Most brand tools hand you a library and call it done, and keeping it current becomes your job. Every Brand Standard account is onboarded and maintained by an actual designer — not a bot, not a support ticket — because a hub is only as trustworthy as the person keeping it that way.

We check in regularly, catch drift before it spreads, and keep the hub current — the way we'd look after our own work, because it still has our name on it.

Becoming Design Office

Brand Standard is built and run by Becoming, a Victoria, BC studio that has spent years building identities for organizations at a turning point — arts companies, post-secondary institutions, public agencies, and growing local brands. They didn't build a generic tool and bolt a design studio onto the side of it. Brand Standard exists because Becoming's own clients kept losing track of the brands the studio had designed for them, and Becoming wanted a better way to keep it in front of people.

If your team spends more time hunting for the right file than doing the work, we should talk. Tell us a bit about your organization and we'll set up a conversation.
